Ryder's project for the Forest Hills Theatre, one of Queens, NY's first motion picture theaters built in the 1920's, entailed demolition of the existing building, while maintaining historic English Tudor Façade. Ryder then erected an 18,000 square foot commercial building behind the restored façade.
